**Job Summary:**
The Therapist will provide direct psychological and behavioral health services under the supervision of the Clinical Program Director. They will be responsible for completing necessary documentation to support treatment activities. This position will be based out of two locations, Chicago and Des Plaines. Pay for this position would be dependent on experience, and / or licensed.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Maintaining the philosophy of providing quality services to the individuals under care.
2. Implementation of the therapeutic model of care.
3. Incorporating clinical imperatives and treatment strategies within the environment.
4. Conducting individual, group, and family therapeutic interventions.
5. Managing the assigned caseload through case management activities.
6. Ensuring all required paperwork and correspondence are completed to maintain medical records.
7. Conducting admission intakes on a rotational basis.
8. Completing discharge summaries for the assigned caseload.
9. Facilitating appropriate community linkages for clients.
10. Participating in staff meetings and communicating with external agencies.
11. Willingness to work evening and weekend shifts.
12. Being available for 24-hour on-call responsibilities as needed.
13. Maintaining collaborative relationships with various personnel.
14. Performing any other assigned work-related functions.
**Qualifications:**
- Master's degree or equivalent experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
-Prefer licensed candidate in Illinois. Will consider unlicensed with experience.
**Skills and Knowledge:**
- Trained in leading confederate and/or role play sessions.
- Certification within the therapeutic model of care.
**Physical Demands:**
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, walk, and drive for extended periods.
- Capability to walk stairs, lift objects exceeding 40 pounds, and meet visual, hearing, and learning requirements.
**Environment and Scheduling:**
- Work during regular business hours with availability 24 hours a day.
- Work settings include hospitals, residences, therapeutic schools, administrative offices, and kitchens.
