School Psychologist - Walsh Academy - Niles IL 60714
· Requires a master's degree or higher in psychology or educational psychology with a specialization in school psychology.
· If a valid Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential is held, no other requirements need to be provided.
· Valid Illinois Driver's License
· Must be able to pass Faith's Law employment History Review
· Annual Salary starting based on experience
· Summer Stipend $6,970.50
Position Summary
Provide assessment and testing services as required by the student’s IEP) to assist
individuals in meeting their social-emotional and educational potential. The School
Psychologist will work with families/legal guardians, outside agencies and school district
personnel to provide consultation, transition planning, and educational services coordination.
Education/Experience
· Requires a master's degree or higher in psychology or educational psychology with a specialization in school psychology.
· If a valid Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP) credential is held, no other requirements need to be provided.
· Completed supervised field experience of at least 250 hours in a school and/or child student center and a one-year, full-time internship.
