Strategic Performance Associate

Department: Strategic Performance
Location: Des Plaines, IL

The Strategic Performance Associate works collaboratively with program and department staff to coordinate and execute Strategic Performance activities. This includes developing and implementing strategies for measuring program/organizational performance, conducting data analysis and reporting that data to relevant stakeholders, supporting agency accreditation and licensing processes, and providing guidance and support to program and department staff in completing Strategic Performance initiatives.

Continuous Quality Improvement:

· Works with program and department staff to develop and implement Strategic Performance activities including satisfaction surveys, case utilization reviews, and program evaluations.

· Collaborates with program and department staff in identifying opportunities and strategies to improve organizational and programmatic processes and activities.

· Analyzes qualitative and quantitative data and writes reports for program/department staff and other relevant stakeholders.

· Provides education and training to staff on issues related to continuous quality improvement best practices.

· Reviews literature to identify and implement Strategic Performance best practices and strategies.

· Serves as Strategic Performance liaison for assigned programs.

· Collaborates with others to strengthen the organization’s learning culture.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Performance Monitoring and Evaluation:

· Collaboratively develops, collects, analyzes, and reports program performance and service recipient outcomes.

· Collaboratively develops organizational and programmatic benchmarks to measure program effectiveness in support of Maryville’s strategic plan.

· Supports staff with understanding and utilizing program and organizational data to improve performance.

Organization Accreditation & Licensing:

· Supports the coordination of and preparation for reaccreditation through the Council on Accreditation (COA).

· Supports the coordination and preparation of licensing/accreditation reviews for the agency.

· Facilitates periodic internal reviews in compliance with COA and licensing standards.

Education/Experience:

· A Bachelor’s degree, required. A Master’s degree social work, psychology, public policy, public health, or related fields preferred.

· A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a child welfare or human service organization.

Skills /Knowledge:

· Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, must possess strong. organizational, analytical, and time-management abilities.

· Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

· Proficient in the use of Excel and/or other data collection/management/analysis applications.

· Experienced with quantitative or qualitative data.

· Knowledge of basic evaluation techniques and methodologies.

· Bi-lingual or multi-lingual language proficiency preferred.

· Patience, a passion for data-informed decision making, and a sense of humor.

· Must possess a valid driver’s license.
